About this course

What will I learn?

Learn theory and application related to mathematics and finance, from portfolio optimization theory to the Black-Scholes model. Solve real-world problems in finance and risk management through problem-based and data-driven learning and hands-on math labs, where you’ll work with relevant industry software. Financial implications affect every industry you could work in accounting firms, financial institutions, insurance, asset management, consulting, government or the tech sector.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have the following:

  • Minimum admission range of mid 70s.
  • Competitive admission range of mid 80s.
  • English at 60%.
  • Advanced Functions, and Calculus & Vectors at 75%.
  • All prerequisite courses calculated in admission average.

  • HL or SL English at 3.
  • HL or SL Mathematics at 4.
