What will I learn?

Consider Geography if you are interested in an all-encompassing perspective on current global change issues. Early in your program, you will deepen your understanding of our natural environment - our climate, our water and biomes - as well as the human environment in which we live - our cities, cultures, social change and migration. Later, you will have the opportunity to focus on subjects more in line with your personal interests.You might opt to study how humans adapt to environmental change, how cities develop and how migrants settle or you might be more interested in climate change, glaciers, floods or the thawing of our permafrost. Thanks to engaging lectures and hands-on experience-based learning, you will acquire the necessary tools and knowledge to evaluate and understand the changes shaping our world.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note:All the courses that are prerequisites for your chosen program must be 4U-level courses, unless otherwise indicated.We use your top six interim or final grades in 4U, 4M, or DU courses, including the prerequisites for your chosen program, to calculate your admission average. We do not round up your grades.International baccalaureate diplomaApplicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.Have a minimum average of 29 points.
