Economics gives us a framework to think critically about the decisions we make. As individuals, we make economic choices daily. As a nation, we also make crucial economic choices. By studying economics, you will acquire foundational skills that address both the study of ordinary life and the wealth of nations. You will learn within an environment dedicated to helping you grow into a capable, modern economist.Economics at Acadia offers you the choice to pursue a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in economics. You can easily pair economics in a double major with business or many other programs. In the BA program, co-op opportunities are available if you want to combine classroom and workplace experience. In the honours program, you can pursue individual research interests and develop advanced skills. You will also benefit from one-on-one faculty mentoring.Gaining a degree in economics at Acadia sets you on a path to excellence. We have a strong track record. Entry requirements

For international students

Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended. IB Diploma including IB English with an overall score of 24 or better. If you are admitted to Acadia University with a score of 30 or higher on the IB Diploma, you will receive 30 hours of university credit. Transcripts should be certified by the school and prepared in a sealed envelope by the school. Official language test results
