What will I learn?

Philosophy is the study of ideas. Concordia University of Edmonton’s Philosophy program stresses the fundamentals of philosophy by studying its history, and also pursues cutting-edge topics around ethics, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, and others. As a student of philosophy, you will develop and refine exceptional reasoning skills, learn how to adapt and think beyond the ordinary.

If you pursue this program, you can do so via a 3-year concentration.

Concordia University of Edmonton’s Master of Arts program also offers advanced philosophical studies relating to the Christian tradition.

When you come to Concordia University of Edmonton, you will master the skills, garner the knowledge, and create the connections you need to secure a job, discover the world, and build your future.

Pursuing philosophy is well suited for students who are interested in going into law or Christian ministry, as well as enhancing a student’s chance for acceptance, placement, and financial aid in graduate school.
