We have one of the largest Political Science departments in Canada, which gives students lots of choice in course selection.Our program is organized around six major subfields: international relations (including international political economy), comparative politics, political theory, Canadian politics, public policy, and gender and diversity. You can enhance your studies by choosing one of three concentrations: Canadian Politics and Public Policy, International Relations and World Politics, and Power and Political Ideas.In addition, students have opportunities for international exchanges, internships, co-op placements and research assistant opportunities. In fourth year, students can participate in an internship with the Washington Center.
