If you decide that the Accounting concentration at Laurier is right for you, you are choosing to keep your future career options open.Why Choose Accounting at Laurier - The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics' Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is structured to ensure that every student develops a well-rounded knowledge of business – including accounting.You'll start with an introduction to financial and managerial accounting in the first two years of the BBA. Your concentration in accounting then begins in your third year. This enables you to take both your required business courses and a number of elective courses (which can be in a faculty of your choosing). You'll develop an understanding of the broader business environment in areas of marketing, organizational behaviour, finance and operations, while also exploring other areas of interest.
