Our innovative four-year Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (BEPH) degree program (including one paid co-op term) is delivered at the honours level. It will prepare you for several progressive public and private sector careers as an environmental public health professional (EPHP). Graduates of biotechnology and environmental technician advanced diploma programs and degree holders in fields such as science, environmental science, public health, health studies, and kinesiology can take an accelerated two-year version of the program. The BEPH program is one of only six in Canada accredited by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI), meeting the education requirements to become a certified public health inspector. Environmental Public Health (EPH) focuses on disease prevention and creating healthy, supportive environments. In this industry, you are part of a team that is tasked with assessing and controlling environmental factors that target disease prevention and positively impact population and community health.
