Entry requirements

For international students

Standard admission

Applicants who have completed a diploma, or a minimum of 60 college or university credits (normally including 24 second-year level credits) from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum overall GPA of 'B-' (2.67/4.33).

At least 420 hours of hospitality/tourism-related work experience, volunteer work, guest service-related experience or cooperative education.

Flexible admission

Applicants who meet the 60 credits but do not meet the minimum GPA (B-) normally require 1 year of work experience in the hospitality or tourism industry in a leadership or supervisory role.

Applicants who have completed between 30-59 credits normally require 2 to 3 years of work experience in the hospitality or tourism industry in a leadership or supervisory role.

Applicants who have completed less than 30 credits normally require 5 years of work experience in the hospitality or tourism industry in a leadership or supervisory role.
