What will I learn?

You can tailor your 4-year Bachelor of Management degree to your interests, by selecting the emphases of your choice. Initially, you will establish a solid foundation of technical competence and skills with courses such as accounting, finance, information technology, management ethics, and international business, all the while developing effective management skills.As the only university in Alberta to offer Data Management, you will gain an understanding and working knowledge of large data sets, data analysis methods, and the ability to make business decisions based on data.Acquiring, validating, processing, and understanding data is an important skill for any workplace. Governments analyze census data to inform their programming and policies the business world uses data to gauge consumer interest and inform marketing strategies, and all industries gather and analyze data to improve their output and efficiencies. With this emphasis, you can work in any career, from retail and public health to banking and transportation.

Entry requirements

For international students

Appropriate Secondary School Qualification. Graduation from a secondary high school program that would normally make you admissible to a university in your home country. Please check the qualifications by country list. Five program-specific admission subjects with a minimum overall admission average of 60% English Language Arts, Mathematics (Algebra), Three subjects from History, Languages other than English, Fine Arts, Sciences, and /or other subjects. A maximum of one Fine Arts course and a maximum of one other subject may be used for admission. All subjects presented for admission must be from distinct subject areas. Concordia University of Edmonton recognizes course work completed in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
