What will I learn?

Use chemistry to investigate the ocean's chemical, biological, physical and geological processes. Discover how oceans operate and how humans are altering them. Learn through field trips, lab exercises, research and lectures. The Department of Chemistry reaffirms the University’s acknowledgment with respect of the Lkwungen peoples on whose traditional territory the University of Victoria stands, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. Entry requirements

For international students

completion of four years of full-time academic studies in which all language of instruction is English, at a high school or post-secondary institution in a recognized English-speaking countryHigh school diploma or equivalent (academic stream) with high-level results / minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalentcompletion of Grade 12 English or its equivalent in Canada with a final grade of 86% or higher within the last three years prior to admissiona score of 86% or higher on the BC Provincial Grade 12 English Examination within the last three years prior to admissiona score of 4 or higher on the Advanced Placement Exam in English Language and Compositiona score of 4 or higher on IB Higher Level English A
