What will I learn?

Our Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences will prepare you for a dynamic career in forestry and related industries, including government, forest companies and consulting. You’ll learn forest management techniques, including the protection and use of forested areas with consideration for policy, and ensuring sustainability and other social and cultural needs are met. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in several field schools where you will learn first-hand about forestry including soils, silviculture, water, fire, growth and yield, forest genetics, ecology and operations. This program also prepares you to become a Registered Professional Forester (RPF).Pursue a degree that matters in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences and secure a job in an in-demand career dedicated to people, the land and the lab. Entry requirements

For international students

Students applying directly from high school.

Admission is based on complete academic history and achievement in three main areas: Grades, English proficiency, and completion of required subjects.

English language Requirement:

TOEFL: iBT: At least 90 with a minimum score of 21 points in each section

IELTS(Academic): At least 6.5 with no band less than 6.0

CanTEST(Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): At least 4.5, with no part lower than 4

PTE(Academic): At least 61, with no less than 60 in each communicative skill

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language assessment) Either CAEL (paper) or CAEL CE (computer): A score of at least 70, with no band less than 60

Duolingo English Test: 120 for English Language Proficiency, with no sub score below 100
