What will I learn?

The General (BSc) degree provides diversified training, giving students broad exposure to the major areas of science at the introductory level. The three-year General program requirements ensure you have both a breadth and depth of scientific understanding by providing you with a comprehensive education. The program consists of entry and upper-level science courses from science departments of your choice and is flexible enough, in most departments, to allow you to choose courses that would facilitate transferring to the four-year Major. Scientific discovery impacts us in new and unanticipated ways each and every day, unveiling unimagined wonders of nature and helping us live better lives through innovative solutions. The University of Manitoba aims to share that wonder and impact broadly. Our mission is to educate all those who pass through our doors and produce the research scientists who invent a better future for us all.
