Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science

Canada

What will I learn?

With VIU's Bachelor of Science in Computer Science you learn to develop real-world solutions through technology. Computer science impacts almost every aspect of modern living, from communication and business to the arts, climate change and more. The practical training you get with a VIU Computer Science degree prepares you for high-demand careers in British Columbia, Canada and worldwide. Computer scientists are problem-solvers who find solutions to important human challenges. Much of human activity involves decision-making that uses machine logic. From designing a moon rocket to choosing the best route through town, computers help by doing massive amounts of logical processes. And computer scientists design those processes. They are the architects of our increasingly digital world.
