The Interdisciplinary Science program at Laurentian University allows you to study according to your professional and academic abilities and goals. You can customize your degree and specialize in one or more scientific fields of your choice. This program offers a combination of courses in biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, mathematics, physics, and even forensic identification. You can also take a wide range of elective courses, such as ethics, law, the environment, philosophy, religious studies, psychology, and languages. You can combine the 4-year degree with the English Bachelor of Concurrent Education, preparing you to teach up to 3 different in-demand science subjects. When you graduate When you complete the program, you’ll receive a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Science, preparing you for science careers in various fields. The 4-year program provides a solid foundation for medical school, dental school, optometry school, and veterinary school. You can also continue your studies in our Master of Science Communication.

Entry requirements
For international students
All-Academic Transcripts (for students not currently registered in an Ontario high school). For international students currently enrolled in an Ontario High School, your guidance counsellor will submit your grades on your behalf. Please remember to submit language scores and supporting documentation as required. Applicants require the successful completion of a secondary school diploma with the equivalent course requirements as Ontario applicants listed in the Grade 12 course equivalencies by Province section below.Applicants from other provinces or territories require a completed Grade 12 with a minimum 70 percent average.
