All students take 30 credits in core business foundation courses plus first-year courses in English, mathematics, economics and statistics.For the remaining 30 credits, students complete a specific set of courses depending on their specialization, either Accounting Finance or Professional Management.

Entry requirements

For international students

In addition to meeting the general entrance requirements for admission to Selkirk College, applicants must meet the following Business Administration requirements:English Studies 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% or higher required. Math 11 with a minimum of 60%. Note that students who may pursue a university degree in Business should complete a pre-calculus course.Additional RequirementsThe deadline for receiving required documentation is stated in the students admissions letter.An interview (in person or by telephone) with the program advisor may be required before entry to the program.Students are required to complete an orientation at the beginning of the program.Where space permits, students may be admitted up to the end of the first week of the semester.Applicants, whose first language is not English, or who have received their primary education in a language other than English, are required to provide proof of English language proficiency in one of thefollowing ways: (a) completion of BC English 12 with a minimum final grade of C+ at an English curriculum secondary school where English is the primary language(b) completion of International Baccalaureate (IB) English Language
