Cybersecurity talent is in high demand across Alberta and Canada. This diploma prepares you for entry-level analyst roles that protect organizations from cyber threats.
You’ll start with core IT skills-networking, systems, cloud fundamentals, scripting, and security basics. In Year 2, you’ll dive into cybersecurity with hands-on learning in:
threat detection and response,
vulnerability assessment and penetration testing,
identity and access management,
governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and
security operations.
Learning is practical and job-focused, with labs, real tools, and scenarios that mirror current industry practice. You’ll also have the option to complete work-integrated learning through a capstone project.
Our academic partnerships with Microsoft, Cisco, ServiceNow, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet ensure curriculum quality and provide pathways to industry certifications that employers value.
