The Kinesiology diploma program at Capilano University (Squamish Campus) gives you training in a field that will enable you to create practical, workable solutions that help people live their healthiest lives.


This two-year, 60-credit diploma offers training in how physical, social and psychological factors influence the health of people and their communities.


In your first year, you'll develop your foundational knowledge of the principles of kinesiology with courses in active health planning, biomechanics, leadership, sport sociology and human physiology.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school graduation

A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses, and

A minimum C in Math 11 (Principles of Math or Foundations of Math) or pass in Pre-calculus 11, and

A pass in Biology 12 or Anatomy and Physiology 12
