The Department of French offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Arts (M.A.) in French Literature (with dissertation or thesis) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in French Literature.The Department also participates in several multidisciplinary programs: Women's Studies (at the Master's level), Medieval and Renaissance Studies (at the Master's level), and Canadian Studies (at the Doctoral level), which allows students to acquire a specialization in one of these fields.For more information, visit the website of the Department of French.The master's program is offered on a full-time or part-time basis the doctoral program is offered only on a full-time basis.The programs are governed by the general regulations in force for graduate studies.
