What will I learn?

Deepen your knowledge of history and enhance your understanding of yourself and the world around you with the Master of Arts in History program. The program is part of the Tri-University History Program, which provides you with access to the resources of the University of Guelph and Wilfred Laurier University, in addition to the ones available to you here at Waterloo. You’ll experience the best of both an intimate departmental environment and the resources of one of Canada’s largest history graduate programs. Completed over the course of one year, you can choose from three study options including coursework, a combination of coursework and a major research paper, or coursework and an MA thesis.
