What will I learn?

The Master of Human Kinetics (MHK) offers concentration in Applied Human Performance and focuses on the application of movement science in sport, the workplace, and activities of daily living. Students pursue course work, thesis research, and internships that examine the basic and applied principles of human biomechanics, ergonomics, exercise physiology, lifespan development, motor learning and control, neuromuscular physiology, and sport and exercise psychology.As a long-serving faculty member, proud alumnus, and former Lancer student-athlete, it is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to what is affectionately known as the HK Family Our mission in the Department of Kinesiology is to advance the multi-disciplinary study of kinesiology through the integration of innovative research, teaching and learning practices, and by fostering collaborative community partnerships to enhance human performance and quality of life.
