Deepen your knowledge and undertake mathematics-based research in a multidisciplinary environment with the Master of Applied Mathematics program. At North America’s only dedicated Faculty of Mathematics and the school in Canada for mathematics and computer science, you’ll connect theoretical advances and innovative mathematics to develop novel solutions to the pressing problems facing today’s world. Through a combination of coursework and research projects, you’ll learn cutting-edge applications of mathematical theory in a broad range of fundamental and applied sciences. There are five areas of research to choose from, including control theory and dynamical systems, fluid mechanics, mathematical medicine and biology, mathematical physics, and scientific computation.
