What will I learn?

The Faculty of Agriculture at Dalhousie University (Truro Campus) offers a MSc in Agriculture and a PhD in Agricultural Sciences in a broad range of specialties. The MSc program is thesis-based and designed to provide a foundation for subsequent studies at the doctoral level and for professional careers in research and development teaching industry and extension. The PhD program allows students to pursue advanced-level knowledge in agriculture and develop expert skills in their discipline of focus while producing original high-quality thesis-based research that will impact audiences ranging from international scholars to local farmers. Doctoral students will become independent competent critical thinkers who will be ready for a wide range of career options in academia private industry and government. Scholarships and other forms of financial support for students are available.
