A program that fills local, regional, provincial, national and international needs for environmental scientists. The program is designed to produce graduates who are innovative researchers and have multi-disciplinary skills and broad knowledge in the field of environmental science. It is structured to be unique, flexible and relevant.ProspectsTRU is ideally located to study environmental issues due its proximity to diverse ecosystems. The region rovides rare native grassland ecosystems, freshwater wetlands, lakes and rivers, and a rich diversity of forested ecosystems, all within easy access, as well as mountain and ocean ecosystems within a few hours drive.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must be graduates of a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent (in an appropriate discipline), from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.3 on a scale of 4.33, in the last 60 credits.
