Master of Science in Psychology

Both the M.Sc. and M.A. in Psychology are research-based programs that train students in research methods and data analysis in the Psychological Sciences. The goal of both programs is to train high-quality researchers and prepare students for Ph.D. programs in Psychology and related disciplines. The main difference between the programs is the area of focus. M.Sc. Psychology students focus on evolutionary and mechanistic approaches to psychology, whereas students in the M.A. Psychology program focus on social and humanistic approaches to Psychology. Applicants should discuss which program is appropriate for them with their prospective supervisor.
