Mechanical Engineering Technologists provide technical support and services in mechanical engineering fields, including oil and gas, agriculture, and pulp and paper. Technologists are essential to supporting innovation and the design, testing, project management and modification of the systems that keep industry moving.
In this program, you will learn how to effectively analyze mechanical systems and to optimize them for a project’s needs - including designing and developing systems, the manufacturing and development of parts, and analysis techniques. You will also learn current trends seen in the industry and how to meet these challenges with hands-on learning in our specialized labs.
Graduates of the program are prepared for a mechanical engineering technologist career in manufacturing, mechanical design, production and more.
