Okanagan College

Okanagan College constitutes a community of learning, with rich cultural diversity and extensive academic support. Students are at the heart of everything at Okanagan College, as seen in the small class sizes of an average of 18 students, hands-on learning in addition to co-op, industry-experienced professors, and field and practicum opportunities. At the heart of many of Okanagan College’s programs is applied learning and real-world assignments in trades shops, science labs and health clinics. The campus also offers a variety of activities and sustainable amenities for students, such as the Centre for Learning and Kelowna Trades Training Complex, which is certified to LEED Platinum standards, and a live-monitored solar panel bank generating sustainable energy. Students can also sample the eclectic array of shops, food choices and outdoor activities such as water sports on Okanagan Lake and skiing and snowboarding at Big White.
