What will I learn?

In this program, you will learn about residential, commercial, and industrial applications in the plumbing industry with a focus on residential plumbing. You will gain an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the trade, associated tools and materials, that will help you on your journey to becoming a licensed plumber or pursuing many other construction-related careers.


You will be taught hands-on skills in the large, fully-equipped, dedicated plumbing shop in Conestoga's new Skills Trades Centre. This new state-of-the-art campus offers all the services and supports you need to have a great college experience.

For international students

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.)
  • Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251), or equivalent
  • Grade 12 Mathematics, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420)
