What will I learn?

Our Mechanical Technician - Precision Machining and Tooling program introduces you to theoretical and hands-on training with conventional machines, as well as CNC manual programming. As a graduate of this program, you may be eligible to enter directly into the second year of the Mechanical Technician - General Machinist or Tool and Die/Tool Maker programs. Additionally, if you pursue an apprenticeship in either of these fields, you may be exempt from completing Level 1 in-school training.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251) Grade 12 Mathematics, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420) For more information on preparatory programs
