Our one-year Renewable Energy Techniques certificate program will give you the skills and knowledge to effectively create, install and maintain functional renewable energy systems. The program is centered around four key themes: Renewable Power Generation – In-depth study of solar (PV and thermal), wind, hydro and biofuel energy systems. Energy Storage and Management – Emphasizing battery technologies, energy modeling, grid integration and system optimization. Sustainable Building Practices – Focus on green construction, building codes, LEED and other sustainability certifications. Electrical Systems and Safety – Emphasis on safe installation practices, electrical fundamentals, grounding and system diagnostics.
