If you are interested in working in the electrical industry this program is for you. Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Technician Program have demonstrated the ability to perform a defined number of electrical engineering technician functions under the supervision of a qualified person. You will develop a range and level of skills to be successful as an entry-level electrical engineering technician. This program explores the measurement of temperature, pressure, flow, level, installation methods, and wiring systems, and applying applicable codes, standards and best practices. Some careers may include Instrumentation Technician, Apprentice Electrician, among many others. Students will also have the opportunity to complete the Ministry of Labour’s Working at Heights training requirement.
