What will I learn?

Become skilled in this in-demand and important field. Learn to design, develop and maintain machine components, tools, heating and ventilation systems, power generation and manufacturing plants and equipment, and much more. Mechanical engineering technicians and technologists are sought after in a number of industries including mining, manufacturing, and forestry. Learning outcomes represent culminating demonstrations of learning and achievement. In addition, learning outcomes are interrelated and cannot be viewed in isolation of one another. As such, they should be viewed as a comprehensive whole. They describe performances that demonstrate that significant integrated learning by graduates of the program has been achieved. Experience hands-on projects like our machine design/pneumatics project in our 2,000 sq. ft. lab
