What will I learn?

​The optional co-op stream is only available to students taking this program in person.

This three-semester intensive, full-time program will be of interest to college or university graduates who wish to pursue a career as a software developer or analyst, or to use those skills to complement career skills they already possess. The program provides students with a broad business and technical background in web, mobile and database application development, as well as systems analysis and design. This program provides the student with programming experience and the skills necessary to analyze and design information technology (IT)-based solutions for business and consumer applications. Entry requirements

For international students

  • A three-year advanced diploma or a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in a business setting
  • An overall average grade of B or above (as assessed by country, to Ontario standards) in the above mentioned academic programs.
  • Applicants not meeting the post-secondary education requirements but who have 3 to 5 years professional or management experience in a business environment will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such candidates would be expected to provide references and a portfolio of their work and would be subject to an interview process.

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS overall band of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT 88
  • CAEL 70, no sub-test band score less than 60
  • PTE Academic 58
  • CELAP (Conestoga English Language Assessment and Placement) - 82 or higher
  • Duolingo English Test minimum score of 115
  • Cambridge Exams minimum score of 180, with no individual skill less than 170
