Students in this program develop the skills and knowledge necessary to lead food service departments while upholding professional Canadian standards, implementing quality management protocols, promoting nutritional and healthy living principles, and executing effective marketing and promotional strategies.
Throughout the program, students engage in advanced functions that enhance organizational efficiency. This includes shaping food and nutrition human resource plans, conducting financial management, and collaborating on the development of sustainable organizational business plans and client care plans.
Robust curriculum also includes clinical nutrition, food and menu modification, food service management, organizational leadership, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within this Canadian workplace.
