What will I learn?

A global economy and the global integration of business practices will be a continuing reality in the future. The International Business post-baccalaureate diploma combines a large range of skills, allowing professionals to maneuver through the growing complexity of a global economy. By combining various perspectives, such as social responsibility, sustainability, economic and managerial aspects, this degree equips you with the valuable core skills required by international organizations and/or companies working in a global context. As a graduate, you will be ready to succeed in a global environment thanks to your newly developed intercultural competency in business settings. This interdisciplinary program is delivered in person, and builds on the success of the degrees in the Faculty of Business and Computing and the expertise of faculty members involved in the major/minor in International Business.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants may enter the program directly from secondary school, or they may ladder into the program after completing some university study.

Option 1: Secondary school (for students with secondary school graduation only)

  • B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • One other Approved Grade 12 course with a minimum grade of B.

Option 2: University entrance (for applicants who have completed at least nine post-secondary credits at a recognized institution)

  • This option is available to students who have completed one or more university courses at a recognized institution and have met the following requirements:
  • Minimum of nine post-secondary credits with a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.00 based on all courses attempted.

One of the following:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.67 on all university-level credits attempted; or
  • All credits transferrable to the BBA, with a minimum GPA of 2.67 calculated on those credits.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
