Respiratory therapists assist physicians to diagnose and treat respiratory disorders. While most respiratory therapists work at hospitals in neonatal nurseries, operating rooms, emergency rooms, general wards, and intensive care units, some work in the community, offering clinical services, home care, and a variety of other services. The University of Winnipeg is an excellent place to fulfill the entrance requirements for respiratory therapy at the University of Manitoba or other colleges and universities across Canada.
