The MA in Psychology program provides an opportunity for graduate students to develop a broad foundation in the scientific approach to psychology, as well as specialized skills.Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. It is also the profession that applies the accumulated knowledge of this science to practical problems.

Entry requirements

For international students

The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the program.Admission decisions are based on the qualifications of the applicant as well as the ability of the Department of Psychology and the University of Manitoba to serve the applicant's intended program of study and area of specialization.To qualify for admission to the MA in Psychology program, you must typically have a minimum of an Honours Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or its equivalent. (Students holding only a 4-year advance major may be recommended for admission to the pre-MA.)
