The Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen was established in 1477. Tubingen is a 'university town' and home to over 28,300 German and international students. The University comprises seven faculties, one Graduate School and six collaborative research centers. Popular areas of research excellence are Neuroscience, Clinical Imaging, Translational Immunology and Cancer Research, Microbiology, Quantum Physics and Nanotechnology. The University offers more than 280 courses that students can choose from and has partnerships with 150 leading universities from 60 countries.
