What will I learn?

Portuguese is a global language, spoken across four continents by more than 250 million people. Studying Portuguese offers valuable career opportunities in many areas of business and society both in Ireland and abroad. During your degree at UCD, you will delve into the language and the cultural diversity of the Portuguese-speaking world. You will also enhance your critical thinking, intercultural understanding and communication skills.Our students are strongly encouraged to spend a year abroad at a host university in Portugal or a Portuguese-speaking country as part of their degree. Entry requirements

For international students

IB 24.CAO Point Range 2023 - 368-613O6 or H7 in English, Irish, a third language and three other recognised subjects.International A Level - At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C or better in the remaining subjects at GCSE a total of six distinct subjects required.If you are - presenting the Irish school leaving certificate you are required to have attained a H7 or O6 in English.presenting other examinations through English you are required to have the opens in a new window specified equivalent.
