What will I learn?

This programme is designed for students who are curious about, and eager to engage in, interdisciplinary fields in sonic media and creative studies and practices. The programme includes options for creative practice alongside critical, interpretive, analytical and reflective components. It is particularly suited to creative practitioners who wish to deepen their expertise through a period of reflective study and extend and credentialise their practice. It is equally suited to aspiring professionals in cultural policy and community development as well as, creative leadership in music production, sonic arts, audio-visual production and screen industries.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must have an Irish or UK Honours undergraduate degree equivalent to H2.2 or above, or an international equivalent, while relevant professional experience in the production and curation of music, sound, media, arts, and culture may also be considered in accordance with DCU policies.
