What will I learn?

Mechanical engineering enables you to analyse and develop technological systems involving motion, helping you harness energy and forces from nature to meet society’s needs. You’ll work with systems ranging from micro-mechanical devices to massive power-generating turbines, involving moving parts or fluid flow interacting with solid structures. As a Mechanical Engineer, you may design components or entire systems, plan manufacturing processes, manage plant operations and maintenance, offer consulting services, or lead research and development projects. Your skills will be applicable across industries such as power generation, material processing, transport, water supply, and their supporting sectors.
