Psychology is the scientific study of the relationship between mind and behaviour. Our programme covers the core domains of psychology, namely biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, individual differences, social psychology, conceptual and historical issues in psychology, and research methods. Teaching and assessment emphasises application of these core domains to real world issues, and enhances transferable employability skills such as numerical and computer literacy, communication and teamwork. This programme is offered with a September and January intake.The major professional psychology career pathway in Malaysia is as a clinical psychologist, but transferable skills lead to a wide range of occupational roles in commercial organisations, the non-governmental sector, educational institutions, and government. Our psychology graduates have a strong record of employment in clinical practice, business management, marketing, human resources, coaching, counselling, academic research and teaching, to name but a few.
