What will I learn?

The Victorian Certificate of Education or VCE is the credential awarded to secondary school students who successfully complete high school level studies (Year 11 and 12 or equivalent) in the Australian state of Victoria.

The Victorian Certificate of Education is a two-year (four semesters) course that is usually undertaken in Year 11 and Year 12. Year 11 subjects are designated as Units 1 and 2, whilst Year 12 subjects are Units 3 and 4. Therefore each VCE unit lasts for one semester.

At PISA, some students may be eligible to accelerate in a subject and therefore undertake Units 1 and 2 study in Year 10 and complete the Units 3 and 4 study in Year 11.
