What will I learn?

With over 30 subjects to choose from you can customise your BA degree to suit your interests and career path. Over the three years of your BA degree you will gain the critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and communication skills that employers want. Practical experiences such as internships are on offer too. Bachelor of Arts specialisation option You can also do a BA with a specialisation pathway. Specialisations include a set programme of courses centred on a broad theme. These allow you to develop expertise in more subjects than a major, as well as the opportunity to customise your study to your particular interests. See the Bachelor of Arts - Specialisations. Study Involve: Choose from over 30 Arts subjects as your major and minor, or double major. Many courses offer field trips, real-world case studies, performances, internships, and community projects. You have the option to study a minor from additional subjects across Arts, Commerce, Digital Screen, Health, Product Design, Science, Sport, and Youth and Community Leadership. Get involved with some of the many Arts related student clubs including Arts Society, Japan Society, Classoc, and Musoc. If you like to think about the problems and complexities of society, then consider this combination of subjects to develop a multidimensional way of seeing things. You will learn about political institutions and economic systems, while exploring philosophical fundamentals of ethics and technology, and their impact on individuals and the wider public. Study Involve: Pick from a variety of courses and customise your study, with examples such as political parties and elections, environmental policy, humanitarian intervention, science and technology policy, and international security and international relations. Complete an internship or practical project in your final year reflecting your specific interest topics.
