What will I learn?

The Graduate Diploma in Design is an opportunity for people who have already completed a degree to add an additional subject area to their learning. Youll be studying with other design students in courses at 200, 300 and 400 level across these majors offered in the Bachelor of Design with Honours. These are concept design fashion design industrial design integrated design photography spatial design textile design visual communication design. In studio classes youll be immersed in hands-on doing and making as well as discussion and debate. Youll hone your creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Youll also develop specialist design capabilities at an advanced level.

Entry requirements

To study at Massey as an international student you will need to meet certain entry requirements. These include English language skills and a qualification from high school or other university. We recognise these English language examinations International English Language Testing System (IELTS) academic scores only Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Cambridge English Qualifications NZCEL Pearson Test of English (Academic) Language Cert. Your test results (scores) are valid for two years from the date on which you took the test. If you have taken a test other than the English language examinations listed above include it with your Application for Admission as an International Student. It might be considered.Academic IELTS - 6.0 overall and minimum 5.5 in each band TOEFL IBT Overall score 80 minimum 19 in writing TOEFL Paper Based 160.
