Entry requirements

For international students

All students must meet university entrance requirements to be admitted to the University.Specific requirementsTo enter the Master of Food Technology you will have been awarded or qualified fora bachelor's degree in food engineering food science or food technology with a minimum B grade average over the 200- and 300-level courses or equivalent ora Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours having achieved at least Second Class Honours or equivalent.You will also provide a short summary of your research interests (200 words or less) with your application.You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.International English Language Requirements IELTS - 6.5 overall and minimum 6.0 in each bandTOEFL iBT Overall score 90 minimum 20 in WritingCambridge English - C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill.NCEL - Level 5PTE - 58 overall and minimum 50 in each communicative skillsLanguageCert - C1 Expert IESOL (LRWS) with HIGH PASS and no less than Pass in each skill or C2 Mastery IESOL (LRWS) with PASS and no less than Pass in each skill
