As one of New Zealand’s fastest growing industries, the demand for skilled hospitality staff has hit unprecedented levels. Skill up for entry-level roles in the hospitality industry with our NZ Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3). Led by our friendly, experienced tutors, you’ll experience hands-on practical learning in a lively classroom environment with purpose-built facilities. We have a choice of four pathways, which share common courses on food safety and professional communication in hospitality.

Entry requirements

For international students

It is strongly recommended that applicants have completed the requirements for Literacy and Numeracy for NCEA Level 1 or equivalent. Applicants are required to undergo an interview with a Course Advisor to determine their eligibility and suitability for the programme. They are welcome to bring whānau members or friends to the interview. This programme requires students to have access to a laptop/desktop that can connect to the internet with a web browser and a required minimum screen size of 10 inches.
