Accounting and Finance BSc (Hons) at UoG is carefully designed to help you achieve a career as a chartered accountant or finance professional, plus you’ll get an excellent university experience. Our small classes mean that you’ll get to know your lecturers and other students.
At UoG you’ll be introduced to the core principles and practice of accounting and finance, whilst having the opportunity to study subjects such as data analytics, forensic accounting, wealth management and social and environmental reporting.
Simulations with companies within the accounting and finance sector are embedded in your degree, underpinning your learning with real-world application. You’ll also have access to our state-of-the art Trading Room and LSEG Data & Analytics Workspace.
There is also the option to include a placement year where you will gain industry experience and be able to put your learning into practice.
Our professional accreditations mean that there’s the option to gain significant exemptions from essential exams with a number of accounting bodies, resulting in a faster route to professional qualifications.
