What will I learn?

This innovative course – accredited by the British Psychological Society – gives you the chance to set yourself apart by studying psychology to an advanced level.Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour, covering a wide range of human thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. The field of psychology has the potential for profound beneficial impacts on people and societies. It examines how we make decisions about our medical care, how technology influences our lives and why many of us suffer with poor mental health, while covering many other areas of study.There are plenty of unanswered questions in psychology, and the need for new research and knowledge is extensive. At the University of Leeds you can be part of this process through your own research, with academic experts helping you in your efforts.By studying psychology at Leeds, you will take a scientific approach to learning about human behaviour and the motivations behind it. You will become absorbed by major psychological issues including – but not limited to – healthy living, childhood development, and ageing and memory. Your studies will aid you in solving a variety of real-world problems.You will learn through a combination of teaching methods while studying core areas of psychology, including biological psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology and social psychology. You will also take part in research activity and data analysis. For students from United States

Typically, A*AA-BBB, depending on your chosen degree course. The university recognises a wide range of international qualifications.
