You’ll have the freedom to design your own project, covering topics such as nutrition, health, conservation, and welfare. In addition to research-focused modules, you’ll focus on current issues facing the sector. Anthrozoology and Global Environments are two complementary modules that aim to promote abstract considerations for you to explore and tackle real-world issues such as human-wildlife conflict and climate change. These modules will be underpinned by content covered in the Biodiversity and Conservation module in the second year of FdSc Animal Management. This course has been developed in collaboration with a selection of animal experts and employers to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours for those intending to seek employment across the animal management sector. If you wish to study and work with animals in a range of contexts, this is the ideal course for you. This course is taught at East Durham College’s Houghall Campus in Durham.
