Teaching is by academics and industry professionals whose work is internationally recognised and you will also benefit from seminars by visiting experts.You will have access to extensive experimental and computational facilities including electronics and biomedical engineering wet and dry labs, collaborative projects with biologists in biology labs, and facilities hosting a range of CAD and FEM Multiphysics simulation platforms.Assessment is based on marks obtained throughout the year for your coursework, class tests, end of year exams and your dissertation.The dissertation provides a stimulating and challenging opportunity to apply your knowledge and develop a deep understanding in a specialised topic of your choice. Dissertations can be research or industry inspired, allowing you to prepare for your future career choices.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants should hold at least a lower second-class honours degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, medical physics or a relevant subject, or the equivalent from an international institution.
